La cadena de comercialización de la concha prieta (Anadara tuberculosa) y concha mica (A. similis), se realizó en base a la información recolectada durante el seguimiento de su desembarque del 2004 a 2005 y actualizada en el 2010. Del 72.3% de entrevistas realizadas a comerciantes en los puertos por provincias, El Oro abarcó el mayor porcentaje con el 51.1%, seguido del 36.2% para Esmeraldas y el 12.8% en Guayas. Mientras que el 24.6% de entrevistas fue dirigida a comerciantes en mercados, y el 3.1% a gerentes de supermercados. El precio de comercialización de las conchas dependió de su volumen, teniendo la venta por saco, un costo entre $ 200 y 300 US en Esmeraldas, mientras que en Guayas y El Oro se comercializaron entre $ 4 y 15 US las cien unidades. La comercialización se incrementó los fines de semana y feriados. En los supermercados el kilo de carne fresca sin valva estuvo en $ 11.7 US, mientras que el producto enlatado costo $ 2.50 US por lata.The chain of commercialization of the blackshell (Anadara tuberculosa and A. similis), was analyzed in base of the collected information during the follow-up of their landings in 2004-2005 and updated in 2010. From the visits to the principal ports, 72.3% of interviews distributed by Provinces, El Oro included the major percent with 51.1%, followed of 36.2 % for Esmeraldas and 12.8 % in Guayas. While, the 24.6 % of interviews were directed for merchants in markets and, in 3.1 % ones for managers of supermarkets. The prices of commercialization of the shells depended on his volume, and the sale by sack was among US$ 200 and 300 in Esmeraldas, whereas in Guayas and El Oro, the prices were among US$ 4 and 15 fur hundred units. The commercialization increased during the weekends and free days. In the supermarkets the kilo of fresh meat without valve was in US$ 11.7; whereas the product for a can was in US$ 2.50.
