The Chinese carps were introduced to the country in the decades of the last century 60-70 in response to the need to develop fish farming. Today these carps are the largest volume of raw material in the industrial processing of fish products to the population. The current state of Cuban aquaculture production is mainly based on the culture of Chinese carps in extensive system, in 2012 it produced 23 108 990 t, 61.71% of the total was contributed by these, 27.31% of catfish and 8.62 % for tilapia. The adjustments to the technology transfer of Chinese carps in the country lie in the domain of artificial reproductive technology, which provides training in the culture farms lots of parents who mature synchronously, achieved through the systematic selection of fish by maturity stages in each spawning. With this method of work has increased the production of larvae obtained in several spawning cycles per year, to ensure sustained production of fingerlings to grow in acuatorios. The culture of these species is widespread in the nursery stations in the country, is made in polyculture dams and micro-dams have different feeding habits by allowing them to take advantage of the different organisms trophic levels. This has a positive effect in increasing productivity and acuatorios catches. The method of working with these species is included in the Work Operational Procedures (POT), necessary tool for the technological discipline in the country stations
