The management of fish breeding and improvement is a key in fish culture because, the condition and genetic of broodstocks provide the quality of offspring. One of the most important tools in fish breeding and improvement is the genome manipulation techniques and specially gynogenesis. In a research study in 1989 and 1990, first the transferrin genotype of some different water basin and fish farms were studied. Statics analysis showed the significant different between the genotype of two species of Caspian sea carp and breeding carp of Rajaii fish farm. Caspian sea carp showed pure race of carp with BB dominant genetype, whereas sampling from Shahid Rajaii fish farm showed variety genotypes including AA, AB, AC, BC, CC After then the production of gynogenesis common carp have been investigated in Fishery Research Center of Mazandaran. The eggs of scaly common carp were inseminated with 90, 100, and 110 krad gamma- irradiated sperm of selected common carp and the most suitable dosage found to be 100 krad. Treatment of eggs in OC cold shock at a duration of 50 minutes and 40C heat shock for two minutes, applied 5 minutes after fertilization gave the sufficient response to induce diploid gynogenesis. The pick output of wnogenetic diploid viable larvae was obtained 2.5% by heat shock and 7% by cold shock the production of meiotic gynogenesis was conformed by isozym marker. The progeny were all-maternal inheritance common carp.Pages
