Abstract
The main activities of the fishery complex of the Rostov Region are fish breeding (aquaculture), fishing and fish processing. Anthropogenic impact on ecosystems of the Rostov Region negatively influenced fish industry, which led to reduction of spawning stock and deterioration of habitat and conditions for reproduction. Carrying out meliorative works by cleaning and deepening of fish passages and breeding reservoirs promotes restoration of natural spawning areas of commercial fish species and increases productivity and efficiency of spawning.
