Effect of replacing wheat with other energetic ingredients in fingerling food of Clarias gariepinus.
Abstract
Un total de 600 alevines de 1,08 ± 0,01 g de peso medio inicial se distribuyeron según modelo de clasificación simple en cuatro tratamientos con tres repeticiones para evaluar la sustitución de trigo por maíz, salvado de trigo y sorgo blanco en el alimento comercial de alevines de Clarias gariepinus. No se encontraron diferencias significativas (p > 0,05) en los indicadores de cantidad de alimento (19,13; 18,62; 17,34; 18,88 g/pez) y proteína (9,4; 9,25; 8,7; 9,38 g/pez) suministrados, pesos finales (14,47; 13,93; 13,04 y 14,52 g), conversión alimentaria (1,57; 1,58; 1,6; 1,51) y supervivencias (> 87,73 %) entre los ingredientes experimentales. El análisis económico mostró que los costos de las raciones fueron similares y altos por el nivel de inclusión (60 %) de la harina de pescado. Los costos por tonelada de alevines producidos resultaron semejantes para trigo, maíz y salvado de trigo ($ US 2 319,52; 2 318,90; 2 300,00) y menor para el sorgo ($ US 2 215,95), el cual propicio el mayor ahorro. Se concluye que la sustitución de trigo por el maíz, salvado de trigo y el sorgo en el alimento comercial de alevines de Clarias gariepinus no afectó los indicadores productivos y tuvo un impacto económico positivo.
A total of 600 fingerlings of 1,08 ± 0,01 g initial weight average were distributed according to the simple classification model in four treatments with three replications to evaluate substitution the wheat for corn, wheat bran and white sorghum in the ration of Clarias gariepinus fingerlings of 10,0 g of average weight. No significant differences were found (p > 0,05) in the indicators amount of food (19,13; 18,62; 17,34; 18,88 g/fish) and protein (9,4; 9,25; 8,7; 9,38 g/fish) supplied, final weights (14,47; 13,93; 13,04 and 14,52 g), feed conversion (1,57; 1,58; 1,6; 1,51) and survivals (> 87,73 %) among the experimental ingredients. The economic analysis showed that costs of rations were similar and high due to level of inclusion (60 %) of fishmeal. Costs per 100 000 fingerlings were similar for wheat, corn and wheat bran ($ US 2 319,52; 2 318,90; 2 300,00) y minor for sorghum (US 2 215,95) the why propitious better savings. It is concluded that the substitution the wheat for corn, wheat bran and white sorghum in the ration of Clarias gariepinus fingerling no affected the productive indicators and had a positive economic impact.
