dc.description.abstractBathymetric data acquired in offshore areas usually include the errors which are resulted from the tidal height variations as well as the bathymetric data at coastal areas. In order to correct the bathymetric data by removing these errors in the offshore areas, I devised a method to use the estimated tidal height variations based on the ocean tide model NAO. 99Jb(Matsumoto et al., 2000. Thetidal correction based on the NAO. 99Jb model could resolve the difference of depth between adjacent survey lines that is generated from the tidal height variation.en_US
