dc.description.abstractThe accident occurred in Tokyo Electric Power Company Fukushima Dai−ichi Nuclear Power Station owing to “The 2011 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake”, and large amount of radioactive materials were emitted. In order to carry out radiation monitoring certainly and systematically, comprehensive monitoring plan was determined in the governmental monitoring coordination committee meeting. In the offing of Fukushima, Ibaraki Prefecture, and open sea ocean space, Hydrographic and Oceanographic Department carried out sea area monitoring based on the comprehensive monitoring plan.en_US
