El presente trabajo es el resultado del estudio de la cartografía bioecológica del infralitoral de la Isla Naval, en el archipiélago de Islas del Rosario, elaborado a partir de monitoreos generales del área mediante fotografías áereas horizontales e inclinadas, fotografías de los fondos submarinos y porcentajes de cobertura de los organismos que conforman las comunidades presentes a lo largo de 28 transeptos perpendiculares a la línea de costa. Se describen y presentan gráficamente en mapas y perfiles las comunidades bióticas encontradas, representadas por comunidades de arenas litorales, comunidades de rocas de terrazas arrecifales fósiles litorales, manglares litorales, fondos de sedimentos, fondos coralinos de varios tipos, praderas de fanerógramas marinas y fondos algales. En la zona se observaron 181 especies de organismos, distribuidos en 10 grupos.The results of the analysis of bioecological cartography of the "Isla Naval" and surroundings in the archipelago of Rosario. The study was based in aerial and submarina photography, monitoring and covering percentage of representative organisms from the different communities present along the 28 perpendicular to the coastal líne. This work is presentad in the form of a general description, schematic mapping and profíles of the biotic communities founded represented by coastal sands, littoral mangrove, coral reefs fossiles, sediment algae bottoms and prairies of marine phanerogamous. 181 organism especies were observad, distributed in ten (10) groups.
