Les pagures du VietnamThe main purpose of the Oceanographic Institute of Nhatrang aimed to make an inventory of the marine fauna of Vietnam in order to increase the collection kept at the National Museum. The present note deals with detailed descriptions 32 species of hermit crabs belonging to the family of Paguridae collected on the Vietnamese coasts.

La Coopérative des Pêcheries d'eau douce du CambodgeThanks to the initiative of the Superior Residence of Cambodia and the General Government, a fishery cooperative was founded in late December 1940 in Phnom Penh to ensure proper packaging and direct selling of dry fish. The Cooperative received and treated 10,000 tons of fish. In 1942, the Cooperative directed its efforts towards the Indochinese market and it obtained satisfactory results.

La graisse de Cá linh banh (Thynnichthys thynnoides Bleeker): étude physico-chimiqueThe Cá linh banh, Thynnichthys thynnoides, is a very common small cyprinid in Cambodia. The material studied in this note was collected during a research cruise of "De Lanessan" vessel of the Oceanographic Institute of Indochina in December 1925. The technical operations have been exposed by the author. This study is part of the previous note by Mr. Marcelet on fish oil.

Notes sur quelques poissons d'espèces nouvelles ou peu connues des eaux douces CambodgiennesThe ichtyological research, conducted in Cambodia from 1938 to 1939 by the Oceanographic Institute, has greatly enriched the Indochinese freshwater wildlife inventory. 40 new species for Indochina were harvested. They have been divided into 12 families and 30 genera, 12 new species for Indochina. The 7 completly unknown species described in this note are: Clupea (Alosa) Thibaudeaui, Xenocheilichthys Loppei, Cosmochilus Pellegrini, Kryptopterus Cheveyi, Pangasius altifrons, Cybium cambodgiensis, Synaptura krempfi.

Hommage à Louis BoutanLouis Boutan was a biologist and one of the first underwater photographer. Graduating in 1879 with a Doctorate of Science at the University of Paris, he became a marine biology professor at the University of Banyuls-Sur-Mer (France) in 1893. The present note provide a biography of Boutan and a contribution on the effect of tidal cycles on corals growth by A. Krempf.

The scientific name Rhincodon is not correct due to a typographic error. The name with greek origin, should be: Rhineodon typus.
