Abstract
This survey present and evaluate the results of petroleum hydrocarbon analysis from water, sediment and organism samples during june/89 - june/90 in Tumaco Inlet, Guapi Bay, Gorgona Islaitd, Buenaventura Bay, Malaga Bay and Cabo Corrientes, all these are included on IV Región, 2 ard 3 zones of sea science and technology developnent plain in Colombia. The concentrations of hydrocarbon dissolved and spread in water are low along the Littoral and it show a mean value of 0.52 ug/l. The higher values was shown in Buenaventura Bay with 1.16 Ug/l. The sediment and bivalves hydrocarbon concentration:, were major in Tumaco inner Bay and Buenaventura Ecopetrol wharf. The results provide a clear sigth about the contribution by the movilization and storage of oil crude and its derivates over the increase of fossil hydrocarbon concentration on shore ecosystems.
