  • IOTWMS Broadband Seismometer Network, December 2017: kml file
    Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission, Perth Office (ICG/IOTWMS, 2017-12-01)
    The Indian Ocean Tsunami Warning and Mitigation System (IOTWMS) Seismic Network database contains broadband seismometers that are located within the India Ocean region. The database is intended to include all near real-time broadband seismometers in the Indian Ocean region with freely available data. The database was compiled by extracting all broadband seismic stations from the FDSN, the ISC registry, RTSP Australia, and the Member State national reports submitted to the ICG/IOTWS-IX meeting (Jakarta, November 2012). The data has been checked for accuracy and completeness via consultation with national and global network operators. In 2017, Member States were requested to provided updates to their broadband seismic stations. An updated database was released in December 2017. Agencies and institutions that operate networks that are not captured in the database are encouraged to submit station details to the IOTWMS Secretariat at iotwms@unesco.org.

    The Indian Ocean Tsunami Warning and Mitigation System (IOTWMS) Sea Level Network database contains sea level gauges and deep ocean tsunameters that are located within the India Ocean region. The database is intended to include all near real-time sea level stations and tsunameters in the Indian Ocean region with freely available data. The database was compiled by extracting all sea level stations from GLOSS, the IOC Sea Level Station Monitoring Facility, NOAA’s National Data Buoy Center, and the Member State national reports submitted to the ICG/IOTWS-IX meeting (Jakarta, November 2012). The data has been checked for accuracy and completeness via consultation with national and global network operators. In 2017, Member States were requested to provided updates to their sea level stations. An updated database was released in December 2017.
