New corals records for Jardines de la Reina National Park, Cuba
Abstract
Se presentan dos nuevos registros de corales escleractíneos para el Parque Nacional Jardines de la Reina. Esta es la primera vez en que las especies Scolymia cubensis y Solenastrea bournoni son reportadas para el área protegida. Se alcanza un total de 12 familias, 24 géneros y 47 especies de corales para el área.
Here we present two new records of scleractinean corals in the Jardines de la Reina National Park. It is the first time that species Scolymia cubensis and Solenastrea bournoni are reported to the protected area. The area reach 12 families, 24 genera and 47 coral species.
