Four fungal species, F71PJAcremoniumsp., F531Cylindrocarponsp., F542,Botrytissp., and F964Fusarium culmorum[Wm. G. Sm.] Sacc. were recovered from hydrilla [Hydrillaverticillata(L. f.) Royle] shoots or from soil and water surroundinghydrilla growing in ponds and lakes in Florida andshown to be capable of killing hydrilla in a bioassay. The isolateswere tested singly and in combination with the leaf-miningfly,Hydrellia pakistanae(Diptera: Ephydridae), for theircapability to kill or severely damage hydrilla in a bioassay.Journal
