Abstract
El trabajo de investigación aporta los datos iniciales para un sistema de pronósticos de trayectoria de manchas de hidrocarburos y de objetos a la deriva en mares adyacentes a Cuba. Se empleó el Mapinfo (versión 8.0) y el Vertical Mapper (versión 3.0) asociado a este. El mapa para generar la información presenta una escala 1:250 000 con proyección WGS 84. Se realizó un procedimiento para mejorar la calidad del mapa digitalizado. Por medio de un análisis cualitativo y de documentos de meteorología marina valorados como antecedentes, se dividió el área efectiva del mapa en zonas de trabajo y se exportó la información (a través de comandos) en un fichero tipo texto de la ubicación espacial de cada uno de los puntos que conforman la línea de costa y la batimetría.
The research provides initial data for a trajectory forecasting system of oil slicks and drifting objects in adjacent seas to Cuba. MapInfo (version 8.0) and the Vertical Mapper (version 3.0) associated with this were used. The map to generate information has a scale of 1:250 000 with projection WGS 84. We performed a procedure to improve the quality of the digitized map. Through a qualitative analysis and documents of marine meteorological valued as history, split the effective zone map in works area and exported the information (through commands) in a text type file spatial location of each of the dots of the coastline and bathymetry.

Export search results
