During the VII Antarctic Ecuadorian Expedition (Austral summer, 1998), we were carried out a total of 4 patterns of silts in the funds of the Bay Chile, and 7 in the Guayaquil Cove, utilizing a dredge type Van Veen of capacity of 0.1 m2. The more representative taxon of its benthonic macrofauna was Polychaetes with 13 families, Anphipods with 7 families, and Nematods worms. The Polychaetes and Amphipods was identified to level of family. As accompanying fauna was gotten a total of 15 benthonic taxas, represented by 8 phyllums. The most abundant families of Polychaetes in Bay Chile was Capitellidae with 37.38% and Spionidae with 17.89%. Further, 4 families and Amphipods were recognized, of that which Phoxocephalidae represented the 57.89% the total of this group. In the Guayaquil Cove, the families of Polychaetes with greater number of individuals, were Maldanidae with the 50.20% and Capitellidae with the 30.68. There were 6 families of Amphipods of the who, Eusiridae with the 41.58% and Ischyroceridae with the 31.68%, are the most abundant. Other group less numerous they also were registered, among them Bivalves, Gasteropds, Cumaceos, Isopoda, Tanaidacea, Sipunculida, Poliplacophora, Asteroidea, Ophiures, Ascidans, and Anthozoa. Photos are introduced, graphics and list of percentages of the benthics groups and families.
