Se realizó la delimitación y caracterización de unidades de paisaje en dos sectores, Ensenada El Tigre-El Embrujo y entre Punta Soldado- Golfo Tortugas, ubicados en Buenaventura, Departamento del Valle del Cauca. A partir de la identificación de los componentes naturales y antrópicos que conforman el paisaje y con la ayuda de los sistemas de información geográfica, se delimitaron unidades de paisaje por cobertura vegetal, geomorfología y unidades mixtas o de ribera, utilizando herramientas de análisis espacial. Estas unidades fueron caracterizadas y clasificadas en términos de calidad y fragilidad, aportando significativamente al conocimiento y comprensión de estos espacios geográficos complejos que a su vez, servirán como instrumento para la organización y gestión del ordenamiento territorial.The delimitation and characterization of landscape units were carried out in two sectors, Ensenada el Tigre-El Embrujo and between Punta Soldado- Golfo Tortugas, Buenaventura, department of Valle del Cauca. From the identification of natural and anthropic components that make up the landscape and with geographic information systems help the landscape units were delimited by vegetation cover, geomorphology and mixed or riparian units using spatial analysis tools. These units were characterized and classified in terms of quality and fragility, contributing significantly to the knowledge and understanding of these complex geographic spaces which, in turn, will serve as an instrument for the organization and management of soil use planning.
