Este documento es un resumen de un trabajo de investigación presentado para obtener el título de antropólogo de la Universidad del Magdalena en 2018 que se propuso problematizar y exponer un acercamiento a la noción del paisaje cultural marítimo en la localidad de Taganga, Magdalena. En él se decidió abordar los procesos de cambio y transformación operados en tres momentos históricos: prehispánico, colonial y republicano. Se aplicó una metodología mixta que involucró un trabajo etnográfico, uno arqueológico y un sustento documental. Se escogió el poblado de Taganga por ser un poblado que está experimentando mutaciones interesantes para la visión antropológica. Se concluyó que existen restos culturales sumergidos y terrestres que evidencian y sustentan la noción de Taganga como un poblado con cultura marítima desde periodos prehispánicos. En la actualidad, prácticas como la pesca ancestral se ven seriamente amenazadas por nuevas lógicas económicas.This paper is an abstract from a research work submitted to get the degree in anthropology in Universidad del Magdalena in 2018. It was aimed to problematize and raise awareness of an approach to the notion of Maritime Cultural Landscape from Taganga, Magdalena. It was decided to cope with the change and transformation processes that have occurred in three historical moments: prehispanic, colonial and republican. A combined methodology was used involving an ethnographical work, an archaeological one, and a documental support. Taganga was chosen due to being a village suffering interesting mutations from the anthropological point of view. It was conclude in this study that there are ground and submerged cultural remains that allows to prove the notion of Taganga as a village with a maritime culture from prehispanic periods. Currently, cultural practices as traditional fishing are seriously threated by new economical logics
