Abstract
Comparative studies on basic feeding composition for. commercial size shrimps of the genus Penaeus and infaunal meiobenthos composition from the Broa Inlet, Batabano Gulf, Southwestern Cuban region, are made. Significant differences have been observed among the basic feeding components of those shrimps and the infaunal meiobenthos, concluding, due to observations made on gut contents, that shrimps are omnivorous and epibenthic feeders.
