dc.description.abstractSe identificaron, mediante muestreos y registros fotográficos, las especies de medusas presentes en el Parque Nacional Jardines de la Reina. Se registraron, por primera vez para el PNJR, seis especies de medusas de la clase Scyphozoa, pertenecientes a los órdenes Rhizostomeae (3 spp.), Semaeostomeae (2 spp.) y Coronatae (1 sp.). Se registra por primera vez la medusa invasora de puntos blancos Phyllorhiza punctata para Cuba.
dc.description.abstractThe jellyfish species present in the Jardines de la Reina National Park were identified through sampling and photographic records. Six species of jellyfish of the class Scyphozoa, belonging to the orders Rhizostomeae (3 spp.), Semaeostomeae (2 spp.) and Coronatae (1 sp.) were identified for the first time for the PNJR. The invasive white-spotted jellyfish Phyllorhiza punctata is recorded for the first time in Cuba.
