Abstract

This document will give an overview of the current objectives, structure and stakeholders of IODE. It will also identify the weaknesses of the current structure. It will propose a review of the objectives and structure of IODE in order to face the challenges of the future. It will propose the establishment of "IODE Specialized Ocean Data Centres (IODE-SODC).
