Abstract
L’étude qualitative et quantitative des contenus stomacaux de la seiche commune du golfe de Tunis, Sepia officinalis, durant deux années (1977-1978) a permis de préciser son régime carnivore. Les proies sont représentées surtout par des Crustacés Décapodes (crevettes et crabes) et des Poissons. Le phénomène de cannibalisme est fréquent parmi les adultes. I ,a capacité d e nutrition varie en fonction de l’âge et des saisons et paraît nettement en relation étroite avec le cycle biologique ou prédateur.
A qualitative and quantitative study of gastric contents in the common cuttle fish of Tunis gulf : Sepia officinalis during two years (1977-197B) permitted to specify its carnivorpus diet. The prey are especially represented by decapod shell fishes (prawns and crabs) and fishes. The cannibalism is frequent in the adults. The nutrition rate varies in terms of the age and seasons and clearly appears in relation with the predator biological cycle.
