Alternative Title
The bacterial control study of shellfish park of Bizerte lake
Abstract
The bacterial control study of Bizerte lake's shellfish park reveals that the studied area is clean enough most of the year(it's either salubrious or conditionnal). The exeption being the months of autumn and winter with the heaviest rainfall when sewage disposal areas and lagoon banks become polluted. This exogenous pollution is essentially due to rain and the leaching of soil. The wind, water agitation and turbidity seem to have a similar relationship with the bacterial contamination of the lagoon's water. The seldomly observed high rates of CT and CF don't seem to have an influence on the sanitary quality of the bivalves and all the CF values found are lower than 2 CF/gram of flesh
