To evaluate the benefit of pigs byproducts as the only ration, as well as their chemical silage incorporated in a semi-humid diet for the feeding of Clarias gariepinus, according to models of simple classification with three repetitions were carried out two experiments. The first experiment had as controls a semi-humid diet with fishing silage (HD-FS) and the fresh fishing waste (FW) and for the second experiment were used the commercial vegetable Food (negative control) and the HD-FS. The biggest growths (p< 0,01), were for the control (HD-FS) (227,2 g) and the meat byproducts (219,1 g), although this last one didn’t differ from FW (197,2 g). Food Conversion rate (FCR) differed significantly (p< 0,001) in favor of the meat waste (1.1). The inclusion of meat silage in the ration that was equivalent to incorporate 30 % of the dietary protein, what allowed to reach similar final weights regarding the controls. However, FCR improved (p<0,01) in 370 g less than food for each kilogram of live weight increment and bigger survival regarding the commercial Food. The semi-humid diet made of meat silage showed a smaller cost level and final product than the commercial food. It concluded that the meat byproducts and their respective chemical silage promote high growing rates, favoring food efficiencies and allowing a decrease in the costs for feeding concept.en_US
